One of the best ways to learn music is by studying privately with a master teaching artist through individual lessons. This allows the teacher to serve as a mentor and create personalized lesson plans that help students reach their goals and develop individual discipline and resiliency. Private lessons require additional dedication and a willingness to dive deeply into the world of music. All Music PLACE students, including private lesson students, engage in music composition activities as primary and regular part of their learning process. This focus on music creation is integral to the development of 21st Century skills and total musicianship.
